I'm an idiot...
Ok I don't know if I'm an idiot or what but I'm trying to do the ISR mod and make some swaybar disconnects for my 2nd gen 4runner. I've been to both Lowe's and Home Depot twice and for the life of me cannot find 90* 1/2" brass fittings (with 1 threaded end and one that can take a hose) and a 90* 7/16" brass fitting (same thing). Both for the ISR mod.
I also cannot find 7/16" fine threaded rod, 7/16" rod ends, and 7/16" fine threaded lock nuts. Anybody know where I can find this??? It's starting to get aggrevating
Both of the write-ups can be found in our tech section. Those are the one's I'm "attempting" to do. I know a few of you have done these mods, so help me out! Thanks

WSU4runner i had the exact same delimma as you. I eventually just said screw it and got a straight nipple instead of a 90 degree one, i dont think it really matters.

Yeah, I was looking at those. I also found a lot of plastic ones. I know a lot of the ricer intakes have a lot of plastic. Will that work or will it get too hot???
Would a plumming store have threaded rod? The guy at Home Depot suggested a hobby store? Anybody try that?
Thanks for the help guys!

As long as you understand what the principle is behind the mod, there's no need to go with what specifically are on all the write-ups, just as long as it works
When I first did the ISR mod I had a somewhat unstable setup that relied far too heavily on silicone sealant. BUT it worked... I did change it though - before I pulled it out (personal reasons, not cause it didn't work).

I had the ame problem here in the UK - I decided to go a different way and I got a piece of alloy pipe, cut it at various angles and Tig welded it together. I made my own "bends" up as well - It's ok (needs painting ) but apart from that it's good
