My front diff is making clicking sounds after 300 miles. I drained it to find alot of metal shavings. It pulls to the left in 4wd, passenger tire barks and makes a loud "CLUNK" when disengaging. It is a new diff from Randy's Rack and Pinion. Could this be a problem with ADD or the intermedate shaft. My Drive axle and CVs are fine.

Does anyone know what this is befor I tear it apart again
If my Bronco worked I would part out my runner and send it to the scrap yard

 

Sounds like the gears were set up bad or not broken in right. Did you upgrade to smaller (I think that's what you call higher numbers) gears?

 

Wasn't Randy's the place that Keisur had problems with? Sorry to hear about the problems. I vote bad setup IMO.

It was 4.11 gears for the front and I had 4.10 from the factory. This front diff was built completly by Randy's. Hope it's not his fault and it is the ADD cause I don't want to rant another thread in vendor customer feed back
