If you have ABS issues take a look

I've read thru a couple of post and saw others having ABS issues. I've had my problem since 2005, I've contacted toyota and basically they said f*** off. The last email I gave them was pretty short, rude and to the point. I'm done pleading and being nice. To this day, I have not heard anything. If more people complain about this problem, hopefully they (Toyota) would see that an item within the product they are selling is malfunctioning; they would resolve this specific issue. So, if you are too having this problem, just take the time to email toyota. Here I've attached my email to toyota and their reply:

Recently you contacted Toyota. Below is a summary of your contact message and our response.

Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you.

The issues of Toyota's trucks having ABS issues......

mine started when applying hard braking to avoid a collision during a bad rain and hit a pot hole. The abs intermitently started to come on and off, but now it is constantly on (ABS light). Went to Toyota dealership and was told that not too many people complained or have the same problem; as I looked at other sites it seem to my opinion "a common issue" with toyota trucks.

I know my light came on when I took a branch to the wire of the speed sensor. BTW, I never really trusted ABS. Big words for a tech. . . It takes away from the driving feel.

there are probably HOW many Yota 4WD owners w/ ABS...800, 000, maybe more maybe less, and it takes i think 100, 000 people to complain about the same thing for ANY auto maker to give a flying fudge, and if only say 1, 000 people are haveing a problem...what do you think they would do. TOYOTA is more likely to help you than any other automaker.

ABS can have serious issues in specific braking situations. There is a street in Santa Barbara, CA that will consistently cause the ABS to keep the truck rolling. The scenario is a steep hill and a jarring bump just before the stop sign. Consistently if I wait until I hit the bump to apply the brakes my truck stops somewhere in the middle of the intersection. The vibration fools the ABS computer into thinking the wheels are locking up, I guess. I once found a link pointing to the types of ABS systems in use at the time and it mentioned Toyota used a slightly inferior sensor system compared to Nissan. Needless to say I am very careful at this intersection now.

Have you pulled the code to see why the ABS light is on? If you swerved and hit a pot hole, maybe you did some damage to the sensors? If that's the case, I don't see how you can blame Toyota for this.

I have not had any issues with the ABS, nor the 6 friends that I know with 4Runners.

no ABS on APS???

if the wheel comes off the ground, it will cause the ABS to think its locked up, because it does lock up when its in the air w/ brakes applied, whether you have ABS or not.

does the little 'out of control' light come on? mine does when im in the dirt...
