I was talking to a buddy of mine the other day , and was asking him about a supercharger .. he has a "special" licence to buy wrecks from our provincial insurance company (ICBC) .. he was saying they come up on "bids" all the time . so im just going to wait for him to find me one .. If you have checked out my build , you'll see i'm in no rush to purchace , so I'll wait for the "best deal "

 

I would still keep an eye on ebay, i got mine for $300, you can't really beat that, or maybe you can, if so get an extra 1 or 2 for me! lol

And with my truck it looks/sounds stock from the outside, and since it is always in 4wd, it looks like i am not even trying when i smoke them. The looks you get are sooooo much fun!

 

Same here well the sound anyways, my exhaust is really quiet and so is the engine tell you get on the gas then its just plain loud. They just look at it and think its a big lifted slow 4runner but little do they know...........hahaha

I was in the same boat, do like i did and watch craigslist and ebay for months. At some point you will find a good deal. then start putting together the rest of the kit as you can afford it.

So? Thats what i am using and it works fine. It is the same at the later model in every way as far as funtion goes. Just how it looks and is put together is differnt.
