Ever since I installed the Toytech 3" spacer/ OME rear coils in my truck I've always thought that the front looked much lower than the rear. When I installed the kit, I re-use the factory front coils but installed new stock front struts. Right now with 33" tires I'm having a little rubbing despite I have the 3" suspension lift and a 1" body lift. Will I be able to achieve more lift in the front if I install front coilovers? Will it be worth it? How will the ride change by installing coilovers? Look at the pics bellow, to see what I'm talking about. Thanks!

 

Seems to me if you go any higher up front you will just end up with it looking like the usual 4runner saggy butt syndrome.

 

I think it looks good the way it is but, if you say you are having rubbing issues, what exactly are the tires rubbing on? On your fender flares or your bumper valance or on the frame? I really wish I could put coilovers on my 2nd gen.

 

Spacers ride like ass compared to coilovers. No comparison.

First off get rid of the spacers as soon as you can afford to get some quality coilovers up front. Then maybe bump up to a 2" BL. There is no cheap way to get more than 3" of suspension lift up front to clear those 33" tires. Either notch where the tires are rubbing, remove the flares or you'll just have to live with the rubbing when your wheel is fully flexed. Is your truck 4wd? If so make sure you do a diff drop.
