well i want to put on 1in. longer shocks with my downey springs, but napa doesnt have a length number on their shocks just what vehicle they go to. so i was wondering if anyone knew what car or truck i can get shocks from? meaning get the shocks for that vehicle so they are 1in. longer than my stock ones. also would it be worth my time for a stud conversion?

Surprisingly a mid 80's Supra is, or should be the right one in the 24" extended range or so.

I don't think that the stud conversion is worth it. If you are going to start gooffing with that, you ought to use a shock hoop and reposition them.

when i got my downey HDs, i also got the 1" longer Doetsch techs. IMO, they suck. totally blew out in less than 15,000 mi. i replaced them with regular length Sensatracs and i am happy. then again, i am not out there looking for maximum travel.

ya i want to put eaither some monroe sensatracs or the reflex's on the back. i just put some reflex's on the back.
