i need to know my size

does anyone know how wide these rims are just by seeing the picture. i tried searching, i tried looking at the specs of the truck on various web pages, i looked in the manual. all i can gather is they are 16 inchs, not by what so im at 16x_ cuz that will affect what tires i buy.

thanks

They look like the stock 16x7J rims. I have 285's on mine. I think it's printed on the backside of the wheel.

He seemed to be pretty sure that they are 16" but that's easy enough to tell from the sidewall on the tire. If they are Toyota wheels then they are 7" wide. Early trucks had 6" ones and the steel wheels too. Landcruiser FJ wheels are 8".

A friend at work has a Chevy Super Duty with 16x6 wheels and he put 285's on them. Works though.

the numbers should be cast on the edge of the rim. I saw a set on a friends truck (tacoma) were 15x7
