i have a 2001 silver 4runner and i need a driver side door mine was backed into with a Chevy Tahoe and my insurance is already high enough just wanted to fix on my own any suggestions where a good place would be to get one at a good deal? thanks

If the accident wasn't your fault shouldn't the other person's insurance pay for it?? But as for finding a door I really have no idea..

 

Easy, send to body shop and make person who hit you pay. If not scour car-part.com and various yards-they can order you the door btw.

 

Sounds easy, but i went through the same situation before. Dude in a tahoe(who was drunk) backed into my civic at senior week. Turns out it was his parent's 04 z71 tahoe, and their policy expired because of late payments two days before he hit me. My car was parked at the time and after the police came for an accident report they said i was at fault for being "illegally parked" in a parking lot? I ended up a grand out of my pocket. it would have cost me more if i sued him, and if my insurance payed i has a $500 deductible and my insurance would probably go up. Looking back, I should have just beat the dudes ass so i had some sort of satisfaction
