I have a squeeling noise in my rearend somewhere in the middle. Its not the u-joints. I installed a detroit ez lock in feb. I cant figure it out. It only happens at between 60-70mph. It does sound rotational. Is there anything around the pinion that could make that noise. Oh i have a 92 4runner v6 4x4. Any help is great, thanks

Have you jacked up your back and just turned each wheel to establish if there are any rubbing (brake shoes, etc, etc) at a wheel?

 

yup. could it be a trust washer, i doubt it. but at this point i am desperate.
