i got a TJM T-15 bumper
and i LOVE it
i ordered the bumper from mike at xtreme-offroad a couple weeks ago, and had it installed at demello offroad yesterday (to get the necessary brackets made so it'd fit with the 1.5 inch body lift).
anyway, here are some pictures...
BEFORE
DURING THE INSTALL
TODAY
thanks to mike at xtreme for the great deal on this awesome bumper, and jason demello for the help on the install.
by the way, the old bumper is for sale. once i get it all clean, i'll make a thread about it.

I have yet to look under an 03, but I wonder just how hard it would be to get one custom mounted...? Either way that really changed the look of your truck!! Look'n goooood! Now all you need is some lights and a winch or something to cover that hole.

chucky,
man, you get all the goodies! some person emailed me awhile back and said he was looking for a grill guard. ill see if hes interested and if so, illl get you guys in touch.
also, remember the grill mod? well, i wrote satoshi (the japanese guy) with the help of steve's wife and he actually wrote back and sent some really good close up pics of what he did. miki is still translating the document he wrote but i'll send you the pics anyways.

The T-15 hardware/bracket is mounted to the frame of his 4Runner. If he had installed it prior to the body lift, the proper placement would give him roughly .25" - .5" of clearance between the bumper and body. Now the body of his 4Runner is lifted 1.5" off the frame. If he just put it on with the hardware shipped with the bumper, he would have at least a 1.5" gap between the body and the bumper. He was getting taller brackets fabbed up to raise the placement of his bumper closer to the body, essentially giving the bumper a lift to match the one on the body.
Hope this makes sense.

Considering I still haven't gotten my ARB Sahara bumper and if they don't get started on it soon, I may have to cancel my order and get one of those instead. Hopefully the e-mail I sent them will rush the order, if not they lost a sale.
