I finally did the Maglite mod.

I had intended for this to be my FIRST mod, but I couldn't find a proper bloody clip!

I had searched for the Maglite brand clips everywhere with no luck, then I searched for the Nite Ize clip with no luck. I was browsing around a local hardware store the other day and stumbled across a Nite Ize clip tucked in the corner covered in dust Score!

This clip is badass! 360 degree rotation, mountable to flat surfaces, I can also remove it from my mount spot in the truck and attach the clip to my belt with an adjustable belt holder.

Very solid construction, this clip has to be the best one for the Maglite by far.

Pic!

Installation is simple, it just involved drilling a couple 1/16th pilot holes 1.5" apart, then screwing in a couple of #8 5/8" metal screws, then popping the clip on and rotating it in place. That thing isn't going anywhere

Yay!

I don't know what you said right there , but yeah, it's not going anywhere, I yanked on it to make sure and it didn't budge.

I am surprised they consider the "mag lite mod" a mod.
