I blame all members of yotatech...

for my ADDICTION . I can't seem to stay away from this forum. My wife thinks that I am CRAZY. My mods since January are as follows: Deck plate mod, Truflow air filter, Highland floor mats, Saddleman seat covers/embriodered logo, new stereo and speakers, GE nighthawk bulbs, Bushwacker extend-a-fender flares, 2001 Tundra wheels powdercoated black with matching centers, painted brake calipers, 35% tint on driver/passenger, new low profile bug shield and window guards, custom gun/bow rack, quick fist clamp/lantern, seafoam treatment (PVC valve, gas tank).

Currently, I am talking to a friend of mine into building a 'Bruce TS' rear bumper. I will be ordering a Sonoran Steel system #7 shortly along with either 265s or 285s (still deciding). New front bumper with winch.

In the words of Little Richard. "Somebody please help me, mashed potatoes, guravy, and curanberry sauce..."

That platform is great looking. looks functional as well. Black bumpers with those rims will look even better!

I made the platform myself. All it took was a couple of sheets of the fiberboard, scrap 2x4s, hardware, and upholstery. Took a couple of hours to make. The Idea behind the platform was for a functional gun/bow rack that I could remove. I did not like the ones available, so I made my own. The cargo net is made by Valley industries (Cabela's - $24.99).

Kevin444 - the rims are resting quitely in my garage...

Post a larger picture of the platform. I think I am going to build one. How is it secured down?

I wouldn't call it a weakness. The 6-potato style chrome plated 1985 SR5 wheels are my favorite of all time (that's the best thing I can figure out to call them).

Which is what I have on my '85. I have always liked them as well. Clean, simple and yet a somewhat sporty style. And they work well.

If I had any class, I'd post a pic. But its off topic, not to mention almost everyone knows those wheels.
