husky liner question (kinda dumb)
Hi,
I am thinking to buy husky liner for front row and second row.
I looked at the picture and I notice from the picture the lip edge at the door side is kinda high.
So....the question for guys that have husky, does the lip edge bother you when you get in or out of your 4runner ? did it trip you ?
Sorry if this is kinda dumb Q
Thanks

I have a set in my '04 Runner and absolutely no problems with what you mention. I had a pair in my former Explorer and they are the best. I have a grey interior and got black, and they look great. I will never use any other mat again!

I put mine in a month ago and clipped my foot (not really tripped) 3 or 4 times in the first few weeks but now i dont. Its about an inch and a half or so but if i could do it all again id definitely buy them. Look on ebay...i got mine for 75$(front and back seats) and shipping wasn't bad.

The lip on the mats help contain dirt mud and water from leaving the mat. It seems like they attract more water but that's because it doesn't end up soaked into the carpet.

I'm also a believer in those Huskies, In fact, I got a set on order for the Taco, in black.
I think I'm exceeding the bandwidth regulations on my site and I can't access the pics otherwise I'd post one or two here.

I have the grey huskys in the oak interior. Before I ordered I thought the carpet had a grey tint to it, now, not so much.
Since they were already here, I didn't want to hassle shipping them back.
I don't really think any of the three colors looks to hot on the oak interior, it's just a matter of which one looks the least bad to you.
For me, the function of the huskys far outweighs the need for them to match wonderfully, and I don't mind how the grey ones look. I'll try and snap a picture later.

ddua: I have seen photos of the grey Huskys installed in a 2nd gen 4Runner/3rd gen Pickup and they look really good.
But, in case Toyota has changed the "grey", perhaps you could do a bit of Googling and see if you can find someone else who has them in the same vehicle as yours.

put me down as another satisfied husky floormat owner. no problems with the lip being too high. Soon after I bought it though, there were a few times where the clutch pedal would get stuck under the mat. That was a bit scary. Hasn't happened for a long time and it only happened 2 or 3 times. I've had them in my truck for 3 years +.
