I just went to get the transmission oil changed and the throttle body cleaned the dealership, wow what difference! It's more responsive, and increase in acceleration. I was wondering, how often should you get the throttle body cleaned?

 

I say every year, some do it every 5000 miles, but personally I do it every year.

 

Since it is so easy to do, I clean mine every 15K miles or so. That usually ends up being about once a year.

 

I spray t-body cleaner into mine at every oil change which is every 5K miles.

 

Isn't that the filters job?
