How much should this cost?

I was driving down the road today and saw a 1987 pickup for sale. It is a flatbed, standard cab, 4clinder, 5sp with 107,000 miles on it. And is in pretty good shape, no major rust or dents. I am pretty intersted in buying this as a project truck. The seller did not give a price but said best offer. How much do you think would be a good offer, providing that it runs good and there is no major problems woth it?

That is some seriously low mileage! Almost as low as mine!

I say call him, ask him what he wants for it, ask if he has paperwork for it, if you can test drive it, see if it is the carb or ECU 22r, then report back

You didn't say whether it was 2wd or 4wd. If 4wd offer $1500 and go from there. He'll probably want more but don't go over $2000. If it's 2wd, offer $1000 and pay no more than $1500.
