how long will a supercharger 3.4 last???

hey guys, i have a 2002 tacoma 3.4 5psd. i have the trd supercharger on it wil the urd feul kit tuned just right and the truck always has 93 octance in it and has 10w-30 mobil 1 oil in it. i dont beat the motor but get on it sometimes, ya know everyone once in awhil in 2nd gear bring it right up till the engine cuts out which is like 5500 rpm, but its my daily driver so i dont beat it at all. i was just wondering how long the motor will last with all these uogrades, if the engne holds up or with the fuel upgrade suplying the fuel, it doesnt effect the longevity at all and how long does the actually supercharger have on it. the supercharger has probably about 40k miles on it and i just recently changed the gear oil in it about 4k miles ago??? thanks guys.

Hi Jon,

My 4Runner has 117000 TRD Supercharged miles on it. I would consider my driving habits to be in the "very hard" category. My truck is driven daily to and from work (60 miles round trip) and I tow a 21' powerboat and a 16' enclosed trailer in the summertime. I usually run the truck at the local 1/4-mile dragstrip a few times each summer as well.

To date, I have had zero problems with the set up. I expect the engine will last well over 200K miles with proper maintenance.

Take care…
