So for the record, you want to remove the airbag-equipped steering wheel off your parents' 4Runner for this one, correct?

Why bother?
You are dealing with an airbag here. Chances are that if you have to ask how difficult it may be to swap - worrying about a misfire/crossed wire and activating the airbag is a concern you need to think about.

Wait for your MR2 and trick it out. Less hassle for you - you just need to be patient.

ok, i was thinking about adding a larger fuel tank, OBA and a 5 inch body lift to fit my 37's on my yota. how hard would that be to do and cost or should i wait till my birthday when i get my H1?

i'd probably have to beef up the IFS though, hmmmm. guess i'll just wait.

personally id love an H1 they are monsters offroad.

if your runner has airbags dont change the steering wheel. People who do that are idiots and deserve to hurt themselves when they airbags they removed dont save their life.

Go have your parents buy you our mr2...ill just go work as hard as i possibly can 30hrs a week and mainting a 3.5 GPA which is just ENOUGH to handle all the costs of mainiting my runner....Thank god for group insurance.

Don't install that in your 4Runner. It will not be worth it, and you'll probably screw things up. I'm not sure why you would do that, anyway, since a steering wheel is a steering wheel, is it not? If you want better grip, get some driving gloves.
