How do I replace an upper ball joint boot on 3rd gen?

How do I replace an upper ball joint boot on a 3rd gen (Toyota part#43324-39015) ? How would I know its only the boot that needs to be replaced and not the complete upper ball joint?

After installing the OME/tundra lift, I have noticed my upper ball joints on both side are leaking. The lift has only been on for two weeks. I made a mistake and installed two spacers on each side. I just removed a spacer from each side to lessen the problem until I get my front limit straps on. I have never replaced a upper ball joint before and dont know how to test if the upper ball joint is now bad.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dont think you can replace just the upper boots. I havent heard of the upper ball joints going bad due to the tundra lift.

He did say that he put two spacers in, so I'm thinking that that's what got him. I ran the lift just fine with only one, but I did notice my UBJ was kinda tweaked. If it rattles or seems to bind during movement, you need to replace it.

So you're got it covered? The link in that thread didn't work for me.

Does the upper ball joint get pressed in the spindle or the control arm?
