how do I remove the hatch door panel?

how do I remove the hatch door panel?

How do I get this thing off? I've got lots of loose stuff in there, and I'd like to get in and tighten it all up. How does the panel come off?

Do you mean the rear lift tailgate? I might be able to send you a diagram later if you could clarify what you are talking about.

yea... the plastic panel below the window, on the lift tailgate of my 96. Where the nylon loop handle is.

Thanks Bob... got the diagram.

I got the panel off - it's just a bunch of those platic pop-rivet things, but they were really holding well - took the right tools and some prying (more prying than I would have thought for pop-rivets. And yes, I did remove the bolt that holds the nylon loop/handle first.
