I am interested in switching my vehicles over to Amsoil synthetic for a few reasons. 1. Longer change durations 2. Hoping for better gas mileage 3. Great reviews from this board. Ok, with that in mind, how do I choose which Amsoil synthetic oil to use? I have a 97 4Runner with 130K and an 03 Pathfinder with 12K. Can I use the same oil in both?

PM "bob_98sr5", he's one of the local Amsoil guys on this board and he should be able to answer any Amsoil questions you may have.

 

Yes, you can use the same oil in both. The series 2000 has a little better numbers over the regular Amsoil but not much. Either one will do a good job, just depends on how much you want to spend.
