Where did you get that black part of the grill? did it have athe middle thing the emblem is usually on when you got it? I am thinking of having a buddy of mine that does body painting on sports cars paint mine all black, but I'm not interested in the screen stuff in the middle just painted and stock looking. so if I can get one stock looking in black then I could just buy one.

 

We just took the stock plastic grille, cut the gray bars out of the center, lightly sanded the chrome/plastic ring and painted it black.

You could do the same, just not cut out the center bars I think.
