No one ever talks about this so I thought I would try and get some imput. Since the HKS doesn't need to be oiled but is washable this maybe a good way for have an aftermarket filter and not run the risk of ruining the MAF.

HKS filters are NOT washable but they did a good job keeping crap out of my turbo on my '93 Eclipse and I was only paying $20 a pop for replacements so $39 would be a steep price every time you changed it.
