Did you guys know HKS made drop-in filters for the 5VZ?

Here is one on ebay for $32 (right now).

And here is an HKS "Super Flow" intake for $113.

Ya, I agree they make good stuff. But those filters don't look like they'd be as good if you go off-roading at all, especially the cone-type superflow one. Maybe the drop-in one would be fine if you had the deckplate closed, I dunno. The look like they'd allow better air flow, just don't look like they'd trap as much dirt as the AMSOIL ones. If ya stay on the road though go for it!

HKS makes really good stuff, Except for their filters.

I don't like the fact that they are foam with no screen on the inside of the filter. After a while, they deteriorate (SP?) and it gets sucked into your engine.

My friends with DSM's wont touch them.
