Hit and Run!!

So some a$$hole backed into my truck in the parking lot and smashed in my tail gate and bumper. Didn't even leave a note......Pricks! So the estimate is up to about $1300...Oh and I'm stuck drivin a Ford F150. Its like going from driving a Ferrari to driving a cavalier.

No....I filed a police report, but there are so many hit and runs out here, I don't think there's a chance in hell. Plus, I think they hit me during the middle of the night.

Wow, how fast does one have to back up to smash all that? Obviously it's got to be a tall vehicle too, but damn! That's a dreadful thing to come back to discover

Hmm....I would get an aftermarket bumper out of the deal. I leave a very large hitch attached to the back for just such occasions. And by the way, I can probably guess what folks backed into your rig.

Exo cage time? That'll at least teach someone a lesson also I've been considering more and more lately to get a lower hitch, just simply reverse it to make it taller and do some real body damage to someone that hits the rear. Stuff like that just pisses me off. Nobody today has the balls to man up and admit their mistakes.

I wish I could've got a custom rear bumper out of it. It wasn't damaged enough to replace it though.

sucks about that. my friend was telling me the other day how one day this lady ran into the back of his truck and then drove off when they were at a light. so he gets out and just starts cracking up because guess what he found? her front bumper..with license plate still attached. so he throws it in the back of his truck, takes it to the station and walks in carrying a honda civic bumper and goes...this lady ran into me, here's her license plate.

Haha now that's a happy ending to this kind of situation!

I saw a story on FBI files or something like that about a woman who was jogging and hit by a car. The person who hit her took off, but when the CSI looked at her clothing he could see an imprint on her running pants. It was the license tag from the car, and they narrowed it to like 5 cars, searched them out and found fibers from her pants on one of the plates and nailed the guy for vehicular assault. The lady is paralized.
