Hi Mark, you probably won't find anyone cheaper than Central 4WD for the jack.
That is where I got mine, at the Kent store.
Not sure if that is closer to you, or the Everett store.
Ever been in there? I always have to wipe the drool off my chin when I leave
I have bought most of my gear there including the bumper & winch.
They advertise that they will match or beat anyone elses prices.
You'd probably want the 48" one like mine.
I also picked up the Off Road Base when I was there.
You could make one out of plywood, but I like the fact it fits the jack just right, and I store it right behind my seat all the time.

You will want the red one too. That is the "cast" jack. The black steel one is not as strong.

I just browsed the Central store and was impressed at the equipment they have. Thanks for the recommendation. I do think Everett is closer to me than Kent. Thanks, Mark

Paul thanks for the offer. I'm thinking ahead on the shocks. For spending money- right now I'm trying to solve the lumpy tire problem and the shudder when hitting a bump. For the latter, I'm going to try a steering stabilizer first, then replace the rubber body mounts with polyurethane. I can do both of those for less than $100.

Stay away from that pile from HF. Yes, when i did research to get mine(tallest one and sill too short for me,lol) central definately had the best prices for a retial/local store. Now, you might be able to find it mail order cheaper, but shipping will get ya.
