High pitched engine noise

My taco makes a high pitched noise when i put it in drive...it doesnt make it when i am accelerating only while idling...Just a loose belt or something major?

Probably a squeaky idler pully bearing.

Easiest way to troubleshoot noisy accessory pullies/belts is to remove a belt and then run your engine for 30 seconds and see if the noise is gone. It has never failed to help me find the noise.

Huh I have the exact opposite problem. Mine is noisy under acceleration.
