I've found the thread that detailed the GM LED 3rd brake light installation on a 2nd gen, but was wondering if anyone had performed this mod or something similar on a 1st gen. The 2nd gen would at least already have the wiring in place for the swap, but for those of us with completely unprotected rear ends, we would have to fish something down between the layers of the 'glass top to the removable plug at the driver's rear corner, no? I expect we could follow the rear wiper motor wiring path....
