High Beam Switch ?

Help! When switching from high to low beams my lights will frequently go COMPLETELY off. I can then jiggle the stalk and the lights will come on again. Sometimes this can be influenced by sharply switching from high to low rather than babying the switch. Is something loose or do I need a new switch? Has anyone else fixed this?
Thanks, Emil

And here is the rest of the fix, adding a relayed wiring harness takes the load off the stock headlight switch to keep it from wearing out so fast:
