HID lamps

I got a new Performance Products catalog today and I see on page 43 they have some new HID lamps out for a few years of Toyotas, including my 2nd gen.

I have lamps similar to the Hella Vision Plus that are in the same picture at the top.
Great lights, as I can change out the H4 bulbs for others.
Mine are the non DOT approved version though (Euro-Vision) as mine don't have the little glass nubber in the middle. All that's for is for the lamp aiming machine to grab a hold of to aim them.

Found this on Syvania's website.
Rather expensive, but I'd like to witness these on a vehicle.

Corey, I was looking at the Hella Rallye 4000 Motorsports (page 42) to put on my Sahara Bar...litle pricey though!

Mike, I'll tell ya the lights to get. A lot of folk's run them up in Alaska I hear.
They are made in Australia, and are called Lightforce.

They are virtually indestructible, and you can get different colored lenses for them. They come stock with a clear protective cover, unlike how I had to buy my clear covers for my Hella 500's.

You can also rotate the lens like a Maglite and change the beam pattern from a spot to a flood.
Todd on the forum here picked up the smaller of the three sets, the 140's.

They are a little smaller than my Hella 500's. I am seriously thinking about replacing the 500's on my ARB with the next size up, the 170's.
I don't think their biggest ones the 240's will fit as they are 9.5" tall, where as the 170's are abut the same size as my 500's.

I have looked at these at Central 4WD, and at Todd's when he stopped by my place yesterday. They are very nice. There is a distributor for these lamps in Kent, WA. You might look into carrying these pups for your store you have, as they are nice.
More money than a comparable Hella, but I think they are nicer, plus being able to put the different colored lenses on, and change the beam pattern with a simple turn is pretty dang neat in my book.
