Hey Brian - OME Coil Spring Dimensions??
Brian-
Hey, just curious if your OME coils have arrived yet? I would love to have those dimensions to add to my revtek setup and yank the airbags for good so i can wheel. Thanks again for all the help...anyone and everyone with dimensions re: 891 and 892? coils from OME for the 2.5" lift would be awesome, thanks ahead of time.

You want the ID and OD and the overall length right? Front and rear, 881 and 891?
Yeah - ID, OD, and length...just need the dimensions for the rear really, unless the front may work as well? Actually, yeah, dimesions of both the front and rear would be awesome...thanks again.

Hey, thanks a lot. Now I just have to measure my existing setup tomorrow...where is the best place to order thru if they will work? They sound too narrow, but I fully appreciate the help regardless...thanks again....actually upon further look, they might have a chance.

I got mine at a local shop through ARB, but they shipped from Washington state, as they all probably will no matter who you get them from, and you could do that as well or you could just order them from http://www.xtremeoff-road.com/home.htm.
Good luck!

Bill - wanted to know what was involved in removeing your bump stops - the ones in the rear coils (wanted to put in some air bags till someone made some lift coils). did they just pop out when you unseated the coil or did you just hack them off? Keep us posted on the fitment of the coils you are working on. Would to add some lift to this rig.

Manfu-
Cutting the bumpstops is cake. I just put her up on a lift, got underneath, and with the coils still in place, cut off the bottom 2 sections. Then just compressed the PP Air Bags (for an 02' Runner) and slid them between and into the coil and pumped em full of air. The entire setup took no longer than 1/2 hour, and you can get the bags for $82 thru PP. They are just not rigid enough vertically, and are expanding outside of the center of the spring, sooner or later probably gonna get pinched and blow, I dont know...I would truly only recommend them as a temporary fix. I will keep you posted on the OME coils. Downey is close to having a set for the new runner complete, due out any day, so I may just wait and see what happens over the next couple weeks. The Revtek kit gives a 3" lift to the front, and 2.5" lift to the rear (supposedly to level), but the rear still sags a little too low for my liking. If I was you, I would just wait and see what happens over the next couple of weeks, there should be a bunch of options out by the new year.

A small update on the Downey items.
Just spoke with Downey regarding the pending rear coils. Apparently, the designer is backed up and still has not been able to finish them successfully. They are aware that people are getting very impatient about this but as we all know, these things do take time. Its not a spacer lift so, we just gotta be patient.
They will call me asap when they find out when the 1st set of coils will be done for testing. Hopefully I'll be able to give you guys the 411 on how everything goes. Until then, I'm just crossing my fingers...

Toyota Landcruiser coils spring spacers
Good afternoon gentlemen, my name is Julio Rojo, I own a toyota landcruiser 1986 LJ71 turbodiesel 2.4lt right hand drive Japanese vehicle, this is a 4 coil spring vehicle( front&rear ) I installed recently lift kit OLD MAN EMU 870 (front) and OLD MAN EMU 187 (rear). do you know Inside-outside diameter of them ?
this is a rare unit, it came from japan, but as i mentioned i installed OME 870 front and OME 871 at the rear... do you know where i can find coil spring spacer ranging from 1 to 2 inches that would fit my vehicle ?
thanks for your time, your answer will be appreciated
