Just a cautionary warning that a spray-on (or roll-on) liner product may hide structural damage..
Just got done removing the spray-on liner on a used bumper that the PO had had coated (with what, I do not know - I assume it was a professionaly applied product).
To my chagrin, after removing the lining product, I found a serious crack in the bumper, just below the receiver hitch.
The good news, it wasn't that hard to remove the coating. Nearly got the entire 'skin' removed in one whole piece
