Help... Warning lights stay on

When I turn on my car 4 of the dash warning lights remain on. The ABS, VSC OFF, VSC TRAC and emergency brake light all are on. The brake is not on.

Any ideas why this is?

Any help is much appreciated.

2002 4Runner Sport

Thanks

Check engine light on too? All those lights go off when the check engine light goes off. Run over to autozone and have them check the codes.

I had the same symptoms shortly after buying my 2001 4Runner SR5. Two possible causes from the code pulled. Either bad gas cap ($10, or not on tight) or bad Evaporative Canister ($400). Tried the cap for a week, no luck. Replaced the evap can and alls been good for 80,000miles. Good Luck

i believe if it had to do with the evap system the CEL would be on.
Thats what happened on my dads 99 at least.
Autozone pulled the codes and got 3, all were about the evap system.
Couldn't for the life of me figure it out, Finally my dad took it to the stealership and there was one little hose that goes into the air box that was undone.
75 bucks for them to plug in a hose, But hey, it wasn't my money

Pull the negative battery terminal for ten minutes, and put it back on. If the lights go out dont come back on, your good. If they come back on, take it to AutoZone and get the codes read.
