help!! with rear axle !!

i put in a 3/8 inch thick shim in the driver's side leaf pack to compensate for the driver side lean, that taco's are know for. i did this at a buddy's house. i got the truck home (my driveway is not level). i did some measurements. on the driver's side, the front of the rear tire is now 3/4 of an inch farther from the front of the wheel well, than the passenger side. i only disconnected the driver side leaf pack when i did the install. i made sure the pin dropped back in the hole, before i put it all back together. what is the problem?? is it because my driver way isn't level and that the body maybe leaning or did i screw something up??
