so the wires going into the plug going into my speedometer sensor were ripped out, i went to the toyota shop and got all the wires replaced on the plug but they put in all black wires. i cant bring myself to go pay a shop to butt connect 3 wires together for me but i also have no idea what wires to connect to each other. without this my speedometer wont work, if anyone could please crawl under their 97 and post a picture of the proper wire colors i could not be more gracious!!!! countless hours on the interenet have yeilded no reults...PLEASE SOMEONE SAVE ME

 

So you only had it partially repaired. Take a picture of yours so i know where to take a pic of mine. Mine is a '98 V6 4WD BTW.

 

i was told there are alot of mid model change (ex. the 96 is different the the 97.etc...) anything will help tho thank you
