as everyone knows, and how i found out quite easily, once you start doing modifications to a 4runner, you cant stop. being young (16) i dont have much experience with making good decisions, so im turning to you guys. ive got 2wd, and although id like to have 4wd, theres not much need to get it, and i have done a few things my 4wd buddies cant because i have a lift and good suspension, therefore im hitting things harder. anyways, im looking at making my 4runner more trail equipped. i have been searching and searching and still dont know what i should do. ive heard of people re-gearing, putting on a locker, and a few other ideas. what would you guys suggest i do next to make my 4runner better off the road. thanks for any input.

Lock or spool the rear...or just save and invest your money like all smart 16 year olds

If you have enough juice, front and rear lockers rule!!!!

 

Bring it back to stock, sell it, and buy a 4WD. You'll be happier in the end.
