Help - Need S/C belt P/N ASAP

Dealer is closed on weekends, anyone know the belt part number for a 3.4 S/C? The number on my old belt is a brand that the local parts store can't cross reference, so the Dayco number would be great!

Thanks

You will not find it through your local parts stores, well very unlikely anyway.

It is a 62" Dayco 4 ribbed belt.

The Toyota part number is 00602-17620-026. Very few dealerships stocks the belt. Usually when you order it, you will have to wait a week or two until it makes its way though the supply chain from TRD to your dealership.

The Dayco part number is 491C-1575-DB.

I strongly recommend that anyone with a supercharger to carry a spare supercharger belt in the truck with them. It it should ever fail you my be stuck somwhere for a week or more while you wait on a new belt to get you going again.

Thanks Gadget. My current one is actually still fine, I'm just going on a long trip next weekend and I remembered somebody saying that it would be a good idea to have a spare. (Now to mention it, I think it was you.) So I was just giving myself some time to get a new one ordered in, in case there wasn't a local pickup available.

Thanks again!

PS - Still collecting those pennies for a URD kit.

Mine is still waiting here with me. I don't have the est. $1000 to install it after buying it the wrong way through paypal. I am a lil nervous about not being able to complete it in the 2 days that I can have my truck out of service. they say about 16 hrs to complete at $60/hr comes to $960.

$1000 for an install???

Man, put the word out on Tacoma Territory, Custom Tacos and here and say that you are hosting a wrench-a-thon. Folks near you that have installed one or thinking about it are bound to come and help you out.

Usually this is done for installing lifts and such, but they just did a wrench-a-thon to install a URD kit outside of Tampa. All went well.

Of course you are expected to feed them and buy the beer when the job is done. Still much cheaper then $1000.

That's the thing... I really can't host a wrench-a-thon on the street. I have no place to work on my truck. I'd def. have a ton of beer (German), and my g/f's dad is an ex chef who makes awesome food. I can supply that part, But the hard part is getting a place to do it. I can't legally change my own oil on the street because of a few morons who spoil it for all by dumping the waste down the drain and leaving huge oil marks on the street.

Damn that really sucks.

There are several of our customers over in NJ. Post up a note here, on Tacoma Territory, and Custom Tacos and see if any offers some help with a place and a place to cook up the food. I am telling you it will work....

Right now there is a ton of guys doing the very same thing near Tampa right now.
