Help! My truck is a pile of ....

Alright ya'll 93 4runner SR5 with 91000 miles on it. I got it back from AAmco after they had to replace the tranny because the t-case spilt. They were on a test drive and the truck broke down on them. Them not being mechanics and me being a honda mechanic had to fix it. It had a blown 30 amp fuse under the hood that controls the fuel relay(i think). Well they "replaced" it with a piece of wire and gave my truck back to me. Two weeks later my truck starts acting up. It won't stay in overdrive and it feels like the engine is cutting out on me with the bucking and kciking the way it is. I will go at a stoplight and it will feel like the engine justs quits then it goes, no rpm drop, no tranny slipage, nothing.

I pulled codes on my truck and the two codes i got were code 14, no igtion output signal and a code 22, coolant temp sensor.

Okay here is the fun part! My coolant temp sensor connector is broken on the harness side so i put so jumper wires into the harness and the connector. Would this trip the code 22? What the hell is a code 14?

Somebody please help!

Last summer, I pulled code 14 on my '94 P/U.

It can be many things but mine was a wire (I'd say an important wire) that wasn't getting good ground and as a result, the same symptoms you described, I was experiecing.

Re-location of the wire solved the problem.

Honestly, I am not sure which wire, but it was an important wire. Something with the ECU.
