About a week ago i noticed a strange noise coming from the glove box area. The best way I can describe it is that is sounds like a camera lens focusing in and out or maybe some mechanical element making small adjustments. After looking in the glove box for some forgotten electronic device I got out and stuck my head in the passenger side floor board. The noise is coming from a black device under the passenger side dash. Does anyone know what this device is and why it suddenly making strange noises? I assume maybe it's going bad (whatever it is). Any clues?
