help me with cat please

help me with cat please

i dont exactly know if its the cat but when u step on the gas when on the freeway you can smell something that kind of stinks. what else could do this and if it is the cat then i have a few more questions. first is there anyway to clean the cat, if not then does anyone know where i can get a new one i have a 22rec dont need oem cat because i live in washington state. please help me i dont need it breaking or causing a fire cause then i will no longer have a truck let alone a toyota. any input will help and thanks to all of you that comment......

if its a standard, it could be the clutch slipping? i know that creates a wicked odour. just need some more info, and what you might of done to try and diagnose it?

its an automatic so and it shifts smoothly. so i know its not that

You can get one from Catco for about $100. A 2 element is equivalent to a high flow and a lot cheaper.
