I have a 1985 Toyota 2wd pickup that I am trying to get smogged. The guy said it failed because it wont go into "base Timing Mode". If I jump the proper plug, it DOES NOT change the pitch of the motor or alter the timing. WTF?? Any suggestions?????????????????????Other than to move away from California
