Help with conversion
Hey i own a 1990 Australia spec toyota hilux. It is rigid front axle and runs the 3L motor (2.8 deisel motor = gutless) I have just purchased a 2000 model hilux wreck with a 3 litre turbo deisel (1KZ-TE) motor in it. It is pretty much the whole wreck, motor, gearbox, computer, loom etc. etc. What im asking is if anybody has done this conversion or something similar and knows what to look out for. If there are any probs you faced or anything in general i should look out for. Any technical advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Wow luv!
You are lucky. My 4Runner has the 1KZT engine and it's great!
It has a lot of torque from low rpm's and drinks (In my case) about 10-11 liters/100km.
I don't know about the swap, but if you do it I'm sure you won't regret.
