i have a clifford arrow 3 alarm in my truck. the past few days the keypad thingy that arms and disarms the alarm has taken upto 30 seconds or more of repetitive pressing for it to finally do it's function. I figured that there might be an internal battery or something so I tried my backup keypad that has never been used before and it did the exact same thing. I called the place that put the alarm in and they said that I could bring it in for a free lookover, but they're about a 40 minute drive and it might be something that i can do myself. anyone have any suggestions? i know squat about alarms.

 

Gonna guess when you say the keypad thingy you mean the handheld transmitters if so I would try replacing the batteries in them first.
I would think if you had it a while the battery may be going dead and the spare probably just as dead since its been sitting there for a while to.
