Help aquiring some parts

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum, and am wondering if there's some FAQ on this, but I'm looking to get some parts for my '98 4Runner:

- I need a new antenna. I read the instructions on doing the tacoma mod and would like to do that.

- I also need the driver's side master window control box.

I keep scouring Ebay for these items, but nothing really pops up. Is there a market for these elsewhere outside from the dealers? (I.e. anyone know of an onlinke marketplace for parts from junkers?)

Thanks so much
-Ted

I had luck with junkyarddog.com once, but since then I hardly ever get a response. I assume you would rather not get new products... search for toyotapartsdude here in this forum and PM him. He may be able to help you. I know he has 2nd gen stuff...

I got my antenna parts (for the Taco whip mod) from Toyota of Richardson. Call the parts department and ask for Cam. Tell him you are an internet customer.

He will take care of you.

When you order the base assembly for the Taco, it actually comes with a silver antenna. So, unless you want black, that is all you need. I wanted black so I had to order that. Be sure to get some (8) fender-liner push-in replacements. I guarantee you are going to break some.
