Heat blowing cool air

Hello all,

96 4 runner 357k miles and still running strong!

Heat is beginning to blow cold now. Blend door works fine, heat valve replaced last year, thermostat replaced this past summer.

Any thoughts before I take the thermostat out and test?

I read a post earlier regarding a vacuum line sharing the heat valve in the Engine compartment but that was for a 95. My valve is solely connected to the cable (the other end controlled by the heat select knob in dash)

tks in advance

I woulda started with taking your dash apart and replacing your heater core first. Glad it was a simple solution for you.
