Anybody have tips on how to pull and replace the headliner in a 2nd gen Runner?

 

Any tips out there??? I got a squeaking noise above the drivers door coming from/under the headliner. Anybody got this problem to???

 

I had mine partially off when I ran the wires for my footwell lighting. I know you would have to remove all the plastic that goes around it like the door pillars and such. After that if I remember right there wasn't a whole lot actually holding it to the roof. It's rigid and shaped to fit the contour of the roof. Why do you have to remove it anyways?

 

Because I got that irritating squeaking sound. Anyone with that same problem?

 

Not only is the fabric letting loose on mine, I too have squeaks and rattles.
