Headlights

Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

Once upon a time, I saw on this forum, pics of somebody's headlights that had what I think was a protective sticker on them.
They made a grid on the lamp.

Crappy Example.

It might have been a metal brush guard thing but I think it was a protective sticker.
I thought it looked pretty cool and wanted to look into it.
Thanks for the help.

That looks like one of those 360 deg. rotating spot lamps you see on boats. That would be pretty sweet to hook up on yer roof.

EGR, Lund, GTS and Autoventshade make clear headlight covers. There have been others as well. Some had the pinstripes like you mention. Is that what you mean?
(Goodle for "clear headlight covers")

i think i know what he is asking about, my head lights have a clear, self adhesive plastic cover over them. they were on the truck when i bought it, one is a bit thinner than the other. apparently, they are supposed to help prevent damage to the lenses from road debris. unfortunately, i dont know where to get a hold of these items and they dont look like they will stop much. the p/o must have been a p. t. barnum protege.
