headlight ?

headlight ?

i have a 2000 runner, and i just smoked all my lights exept my headlights, and i want to paint the inside of the lights where the chrome is black. is there any way to take off the outer glass?

dont paint that.. its a reflector/focusing piece .. its used to direct the beams..
your lights will be at best 50% of what they were.

no i think your misunderstanding what i mean. i found this guy that bought them like that already, pics of his lights are below. i wanna just do that, the parts that are black are not reflective.

take the lights off and bake them at 350 for about 7 mins and the seal holding the glass on will be soft enough to take off the outer glass. I would also take off the mounting bracket off the light before but i dont think its required.
