have a question about my 02

i have a 2002 sport

i want to change my diff fluid

i know that i have a front and rear diff... but do i have a center or a transfer case?

if anyone knows of a thread of a "did it your own" that i could follow that would be great

differentials are only where the driveshafts connect to an axle

The centre diff is in the tranfer case.

You might as well put Redline or AMSOIL in them (~$10 / qt). It makes it sooooo much smoother and hopefully you will get better gas mileage. I did all 3 of mine in about 1 hour. You will need a fluid pump.

Just make sure you can unbolt the fill plug before you unbolt the drain plug.
