Hatch size

Anyone know if another 4runner hatch will fit inside my 4runner? I measured it real quick and did some looking and I don't see why it wouldn't but I thought I would ask.

Never done so, but I would think it would fit if you slide it in at an angle through the rear w/ the back seats folded down.

That's what I thought and measured. I thought I'd ask and see if anyone had done it for some reason.

Haha. No. The long story is I got a salvage hatch to replace my damaged one and it wound up without the correct wiring harness and so this week when I am on my way to Texas I am going to pick up my old hatch from the salvage yard I left it at. Then I am going to have to take it's inards out and put it in the one I have. That way I can sell it.

Makes sense...I didn't think you had it near by (or at least I had hoped you didn't), but I had to ask . Sometimes you just never know. Some people are so lazy, they would rather ask a question than go find out the answer for themselves.

Worse comes to worst, just slap it on the roof and tie it down real good

Yeah, I might be lazy but I'm not that lazy.

The well if it doesn't I'll have the move the spare tires from the roof to the inside but I think it'll fit. I'm taking all my extra stuff with me incase I can get it sold down there. I can arrange a flight back up.
