grinding nose in 4wd

grinding nose in 4wd

when im in 4wd and turn it makes a clicking/grinding noise/.what is the cause of it,is it bearings

Do a search for a better answer as this was asked like 2 weeks ago. I believe its the steering stops or bumpstops, I forget which, but it is quite normal and like I said, the better answer is in another thread.

I know what your saying and it is useally the steering stops but i only have to have turn it halfway and it sounds bad.

but ill look up that thread.

That's wierd, what year is your truck? Does it make the noise when you are in 2WD as well?

its a 92 4runner and it only happens in 4wd.the steering stops make a nose in 2wd
